How Reliant Insurance Services collects, uses, protects, and shares information, the terms that apply to text messages we send, and the terms that govern use of this website.

Reliant Insurance Services LLC ("Reliant," "we," "us," or "our") is an independent insurance agency licensed in the State of Florida under agency license L097080, with its principal office at 4830 W Kennedy Blvd, Suite 600, Tampa, FL 33609. We provide homeowners, automobile, flood, umbrella, and related personal insurance guidance to clients throughout Florida.
This page explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, when we share it, the terms that apply to text messages we send you, and the terms that govern your use of this website.
As a licensed insurance agency, Reliant is a financial institution under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. Our handling of nonpublic personal information is governed by that Act, its implementing regulations, and applicable Florida insurance privacy statutes and rules, in addition to this policy. Where this policy and applicable insurance privacy law differ, the law controls.
To quote and service coverage accurately, we may obtain information from insurance carriers, prior insurers, consumer reporting agencies, motor vehicle records, claims history databases, property appraiser and county records, and property data providers. We may also receive your name and contact information from a professional who has introduced you to us, such as a real estate agent, lender, attorney, financial advisor, or CPA. Receiving a referral does not by itself constitute your consent to receive automated marketing text messages from Reliant; we obtain that consent from you directly.
When you visit this site, our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and pages viewed. We use this to keep the site secure and to understand general usage patterns.
Where you opt in to email or text message communications, we retain a record of that consent, including the date and time, the wording of the disclosure presented to you, the channel through which consent was given, and the IP address or the name of the representative who documented it.
We do not use artificial intelligence tools to make final underwriting, coverage, binding, cancellation, or claims determinations. Those decisions are made by licensed personnel or by the insurance carrier.
We share information only as needed to do the work you have asked us to do, or as required by law:
We do not sell, rent, or license your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
All of the sharing categories described above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent may be shared only with the messaging service providers, subprocessors, and telecommunications carriers strictly necessary to transmit the messages you have requested, and only for that purpose.
We do not purchase, rent, import, or append mobile telephone numbers from third-party lists or lead vendors for the purpose of sending text messages. Every mobile number we message has provided consent directly to Reliant Insurance Services LLC.
Insurance carriers commonly rely on consumer reports when underwriting and rating a policy. These may include credit-based insurance scores, motor vehicle records, claims history reports such as C.L.U.E., and property inspection and valuation reports. When you request a quote, we and the carriers we submit to may obtain these reports as permitted by law.
These reports come from consumer reporting agencies as defined by the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act. If a carrier takes an adverse action based in whole or in part on information in such a report, you have the right to receive notice of that action, to be told which reporting agency furnished the report, to obtain a free copy of the report from that agency, and to dispute the accuracy or completeness of the information it contains.
This site uses cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to keep the site functioning, enable form submission, and maintain security. We do not run advertising or remarketing pixels on this website. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings; disabling cookies may affect how parts of this site function.
This site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals, because no uniform industry standard for those signals has been adopted.
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect nonpublic personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. These include access controls limiting information to personnel with a business need, encryption of data in transit, multi-factor authentication on business systems, vendor due diligence, and workforce training. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please do not send sensitive identifiers such as Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, or financial account numbers by unencrypted email or text message; ask us for a secure method instead.
We retain client and applicant records for as long as necessary for the purposes described above and for the periods required by Florida insurance recordkeeping requirements, carrier agreements, tax rules, applicable statutes of limitation, and our professional liability obligations. Consent and opt-out records are retained for at least five years following the last message sent or the date consent was revoked, whichever is later.
Certain rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights apply only to businesses meeting statutory revenue and activity thresholds. We honor the requests described above regardless of whether those thresholds apply to us. As a financial institution under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, we provide a privacy notice describing our information-sharing practices; this page serves as that notice. We do not share nonpublic personal information with nonaffiliated third parties except as permitted by that Act, so no separate opt-out right regarding such sharing arises.
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this site, other than information about household members provided by an adult applicant in connection with an insurance application.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always appear on this page with its effective date. Continued use of this website or our services after a revision constitutes acceptance of the current version.
These terms govern text messages sent by Reliant Insurance Services LLC to mobile numbers you provide.
We send text messages regarding insurance quote requests, applications, policy service, billing and renewal reminders, appointment scheduling, document requests, and claims follow-up, and, where you have separately consented, informational and promotional messages about our services.
You provide express written consent by checking the dedicated text message consent box on a Reliant web form and submitting the form; by providing verbal consent to a Reliant representative during a telephone call, which we document; or by texting a keyword or sending a message to a Reliant number. The disclosure presented at opt-in reads substantially as follows: "I agree to receive text messages from Reliant Insurance Services LLC at the mobile number provided, including messages sent using automated technology, regarding my insurance quote, policy, and service requests. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase."
You are not required to consent to text messages in order to obtain a quote, purchase insurance, or receive services from us. If you decline, we will communicate with you by telephone, email, or mail.
Message frequency varies based on your activity and account status, and is typically fewer than ten messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reliant does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier's standard rates apply.
Reply STOP to any message from us at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and will not receive further messages from that program. You may also opt out by calling (813) 925-6000 or emailing johnt@myreliantinsurance.com. Opting out of text messages does not opt you out of email or telephone communications; those must be requested separately. For help, reply HELP to any message, call (813) 925-6000, or email us.
Our messaging program is supported by major United States wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular, among others. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and is not guaranteed, and Reliant is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Carrier support may change without notice.
You agree to notify us promptly if the mobile number you provided is deactivated, changed, or transferred, so that we do not send messages to a subsequent subscriber of that number.
Text messaging is not a secure channel. Do not send Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, account numbers, or payment information by text. Text messages may not be used to request that coverage be bound, changed, increased, decreased, or cancelled, or to report a claim.
By accessing or using this website you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The content on this website is general information about insurance coverage. It is not legal, tax, or financial advice, not an offer to sell insurance, not a solicitation in any state where we are not licensed, and not a substitute for the terms of an actual policy. Coverage descriptions are summaries. Availability, terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions vary by carrier and are subject to underwriting approval. The policy itself governs in all cases.
Reliant Insurance Services LLC is an independent insurance agency licensed in the State of Florida under agency license L097080. We are appointed by, and act as agent for, the insurance carriers with whom we place coverage. We are not an insurance carrier and do not underwrite, issue, or fund insurance policies.
Submitting a quote request, application, or any other form on this site does not bind, alter, extend, or cancel insurance coverage. No coverage is in force unless and until it is confirmed in writing by Reliant and issued by the insurance carrier. Requests to bind, change, increase, decrease, or cancel coverage, and reports of claims, must be made by telephone to (813) 925-6000 or by email to a Reliant representative and must be confirmed by us in writing. Please do not rely on a voicemail, text message, web form, or social media message for any time-sensitive coverage request.
Premium quotes are estimates based on the information provided and are subject to underwriting review, inspection, verification of information, and carrier approval. Actual premiums, terms, and eligibility may differ, and quotes may expire or be withdrawn.
You agree that information you submit is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. Material misrepresentation or omission in an insurance application may result in denial of coverage, rescission of a policy, or denial of a claim.
You may not use this site to violate any law; to submit false, fraudulent, or another person's information without authorization; to attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; to introduce malicious code; to scrape, harvest, or automatically collect content or contact information; to interfere with the site's operation; or for any commercial purpose other than requesting insurance services from Reliant.

You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish, modify, mirror, or distribute this site's content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
By providing your email address or mobile number, you consent to receive communications from us electronically and agree that electronic communications, disclosures, notices, and signatures satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. You may withdraw this consent by contacting us, though doing so may limit our ability to serve you electronically.

This site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free, or that its content is complete, accurate, or current at any given time. This disclaimer applies to the website and does not limit any duty Reliant owes you as your insurance agent under Florida law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reliant Insurance Services LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising out of your use of or inability to use this website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. This limitation applies to use of the website and does not limit Reliant's professional liability arising from insurance services rendered.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reliant Insurance Services LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, liability, or expense, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your violation of these terms, your misuse of this site, or information you submit that is false or that you were not authorized to provide.
We may revise these terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page. Continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the current version.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Subject to the arbitration provision below, any dispute relating to this website will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
If any provision is held unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force. These terms, together with the privacy policy and text message terms on this page, constitute the entire agreement regarding your use of this site. They do not modify any insurance policy, application, or separate written agreement between you and Reliant or an insurance carrier.
You and Reliant agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this website, these terms, the privacy policy, the text message terms, or any communications sent to you by Reliant, including claims under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act, or any other communications statute, will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its applicable consumer arbitration rules, and not in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court.
You and Reliant agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any class or representative proceeding.
To the extent any claim proceeds in court rather than arbitration, you and Reliant each waive any right to a trial by jury.
You may opt out of this arbitration provision by sending written notice to Reliant Insurance Services LLC, 4830 W Kennedy Blvd, Suite 600, Tampa, FL 33609, Attention: Legal, within 30 days of first accepting these terms. Your notice must include your name, address, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration. Opting out will not affect any other part of these terms.
If the class action waiver is held unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim will proceed in court and this arbitration provision will not apply to it. The remainder of this section will otherwise survive.
To exercise a privacy choice, request access or correction, opt out of communications, or ask a question about this page, contact us using any method below and include your name, the best way to reach you, and a description of your request.
